视角----移居泰国之医疗保健
泰国医疗设施完备，医疗资源丰富，部分医疗机构可以提供世界一流的服务。在大城市，泰国人可以免费享受公立和私立医疗，部分偏远地区或者岛屿仅有公立医疗机构。早在2010年的统计就显示，泰国有1002所公立医院和316所私立医院。截止到2018年，由泰国卫生部管理的公立医院为895所，分布在全国34个地区，另有85个综合诊所和776个社区诊所。
1.0 公共医疗
公立医院提供的服务水平因所在地是否为大城市有所区别，在曼谷、芭提雅和清迈这样的大城市，医院设备和医生诊疗水平十分优秀。大型医院、综合诊所和小型门诊部分布合理。患者可以轻松就医问诊。国家卫生部负责总揽全国的卫生事业，自从2002年以来，全方位的医疗服务体系已经在泰国布局并发挥作用。在泰国的外籍人士，如果在公立医疗机构就医，则需要自己支付费用。所以，对于外籍人士而言，及时购买私人医疗保险是十分必要的。
不过，在泰国就诊，需要首先在等地诊所就医，但是由于患者众多，医生数量配备还不能完全满足需要，每位医生不得不每周都要在不同诊所出诊，这对需要多次诊疗的患者造成不变；所以如果是较为严重的疾病，还是需要先到综合诊所诊治，通常需要提前预约。在综合诊所就诊后，医生会给患者建立一个医疗档案，并由患者带回，下一次便可以就近去诊所再行后续治疗。
由于在诊所和综合诊所的医生数量不足，以及小型医疗机构的过长就诊等待时间，常常造成公立医疗机构患者满满。另外，在泰国尽管有全方位的医疗保健服务，但是就诊时，还是需要先付费在报销的。
2.0 私立医疗
作为公立医疗机构的必要补充，私立医疗机构在泰国发展迅速，并能提供更加舒适和高效的诊疗服务。其中，在曼谷著名的私立医院是 Bangkok Hospitals Group、 the Bumrungrad International Hospital 和 the Samitivej Hospitals。
The Bangkok Hospitals Group 和the Samitivej Hospitals 两家医疗机构不仅在首都曼谷，而且在全国也都设有分支医院，这两家医院都获得了JCI (Joint Commission International)资质认证。泰国的私立医疗机构的都达到了国际水平，并提供为业界所认可的医疗服务。私立医疗机构不仅为外籍人士提供服务，同时也为有支付能力的泰国公民提供服务。和公立医疗医院相同，在私立医院就诊时候，也要先缴费，后诊疗。由于设备先进，费用相对其他亚洲国家较为低廉，泰国正在成为一个新的医疗旅游目的地。
