Introduction

Yangshuo is a well-known China town for the picturesque karst mountains and Li River. Zhoxing Dong Village is an old village in Guizhou Province, which is less touristy, where you can hine in the rice terraces and view the wooden Dong Ethnic Group traditional constructions. Libo is a town to view the Large Seven-Hole Bridge, and Small Seven-Hole Bridge Scenic Zones that are inscribed on the world heritage list by UNESCO.

This tour will let you take round-way bullet train from Guangzhou to Yangshuo, then to Zhaoxing, Libo to view above interesting places with a local guide.

Day 1 Guangzhou to Yangshuo by bullet train

Today you will be picked up from your Guangzhou hotel or meet at Garden Hotel, then head to Guangzhou South Railway station to catch 2-hour bullet train to Yangshuo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Xingping Old Village where you will take the local boat to view the best section of the Li River which is printed on the 20-yuan Chinese currency note.

Afterwards, you will head to Xianggong Mountain, where you will view the Li River from top of the hill.

Enjoy the night market in the evening in the West Street in Yangshuo.

Day 2 Sightseeing in Yangshuo

Today you will take bike or take the sightseeing cart depending on your wish to the Yulong River, which is a stunning area with rice paddies and the impressive karst mountains as the background.

Then climb up the Moon Hill to have a bird view of the entire area.

After lunch, return to Yangshuo and enjoy your free time.

Day 3 Yangshuo to Congjiang, visit Basha Gun Tribe and Zhaoxing Dong Village

Take 1.5-hour bullet train from Yangshuo to Congiang in the morning. Upon arrival, you will head to the Basha Village, which is named The Last Gun Tribe in China. A small Miao village with very little signs of modern influence for Guizhou travel. The people rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and shopping for daily necessities in markets, and both men and women can be seen in traditional costumes, wearing their hair long.

Then you will move to Zhaoxing Dong Village that is one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000.

Day 4 Sightseeing in Zhaoxing

Today you will explore Zhaoxing village and nearby area with your local guide. Firstly you will learn the history about the old buildings and the huge Drum Towers. Moreover, you will head to the hilly TangAn Village where you will view the traditional houses as well, then walk in the rice terraces to breath the fresh air.

Day 5 Zhaoxing to Libo by car

After breakfast, you will take 2.5-hour car ride to Libo. The Large Seven-Hole Bridge, and Small Seven-Hole Bridge Scenic Zones in Libo are UNESCO heritage for the wonderful karst mountains and stunning river.

You will visit  both impressive beautiful sites.

Afterwards you will check in the hotel.

Day 6 Libo to Sandu by car, then bullet train back to Guangzhou, tour concludes.

Today you will take 1.5-hour car ride to Sandu Railway Station to catch 4-hour bullet train back to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the Garden Hotel where the tour concludes.
